Lights went out at tourism landmarks and homes across the globe on Saturday for Earth Hour 2009, a global event designed to highlight the threat from climate change.
For me ... it was very quiet in the house ... I let some candles which still flicker ... enjoyed a glass of wine .. and took a few pictures. The calm is amazing.

The village did "earth hour" last night. Marc killed all power to the unattened buildings and since we had a school play at the same time, we all crowded into the windowless VC and hung out. No Holden to be seen last night.
